How can i find the names of diffrent types of plants and flowers and match them with their picture?

I work for a landscaping company and im supposed to match all the pictures of diffrent types of plants and flowers with there names, but i don't know anything about flowers and plants.

How can i find the names of diffrent types of plants and flowers and match them with their picture?
This is one of my favorite sites for plant identification:

There are also pocket sized plant guides available at almost any bookstore or at Amazon.com

Good luck with your new job.
Reply:Go to your local library and check out a flower , plant book for up to 2 weeks, FREE and take it to work with you. Your library has lots of gardening books and you are sure to find one with the pictures you need.
Reply:BHG.com Better homes and garden that is.

there is a database of flowers, fruit, vegetables, herbs, etc, and most of them have pictures
Reply:I would visit a book store and get a referance book on plants, the problem is that unless you can remember many botanical species there may be hundreds more that may not be listed in all books, the best thing may be to start of by finding what species of plants can be grown in the zone where you work, the only problem with that is that allot of your customers may want annuals and then the need for more infromation will exist. learn the basic, what are , shrubs, connifers, diciduouse, evergreen, vine, bulbs, grasses, ornimental and the list goes on and on
Reply:Try the Gurney site, they have pictures and the names of a lot of plants.
