i think it is important to know what grows and lives around.-imagine,there will come bad times or you are in a bad situation.-it may help you.-so stronger the country so more important to know it.

Flowers are only one bit of a plant. And yes I do want to know what plant it is....its called curiosity. and you know the names are rightly in latin.....ok... it takes education to know that.....much harder if they were in sanskrit....but thats gonna be even harder for our vomiting friend ( the person who replied to your answer)
Reply:I like to know the common and scientific names, and also cultivar names if at all possible.





I also buy things depending on their names, so that I know what I'm buying is going to look like. If I am buying something special I want a name.
Reply:I like it when they have simple names like daffodil or daisy but when its something mouthful like gladolis gladioli or something it's like no, give it a nice name.
Reply:Flowers are beautiful.It would be strange if they were not given a name,also very boring,as there would be no discussion on them. I care very much about flowers.Trees @ any other living thing.
Reply:Yes, I try to learn something new every day. So if I learn the name of a new flower, or bird, etc. I have learned something new for the day.
